vigils for 9/11, another national catastrophe hit home on August
29, 2005 – Hurricane Katrina. Once again, a thousand words
cannot convey the disaster and pain of the victims of Katrina.
With hundreds of thousands left homeless and a rising death toll
estimated in the thousands, Katrina would be the nation's
deadliest hurricane.
